The Gong was unearthed at a tomb of the Yin ruins. It is elaborately decorated with lively animal designs. It has an ox head in the front of the lid and a bird at the back of the lid, and a beast head-shaped handle. Its body is decorated with dragons pattern. The inscription is carved in the cover and the vessel belly.
