Modern history Hall has been opened to public freely since May 4,1999.

The National Administration for Cultural Heritage will hold meet about cultural relics information standard of China in Henan Museum on 19-21 May 1999. The experts and scholars from more than 10 museums (Palace Museum, National Museum of History of China, National Museum of Revolutionary History of China, Shanghai Museum, Nangjing Museum, Tianjin History Museum, Guangdong Museum, The Museum of Qin Shihuang Terracotta Warriors and Horses and Henan Museum etc.) will deliberate informationized management for museum and programme of development of cultural relics information system .

　

Henan Museum will open to public in half price on 18-19 May 1999 in order to celebrate International Museum Day 1999.

The exhibition " the Chu state bronze" honored the prize of the ten cream exhibitions of China .

The result of The 98' ten cream exhibitions of China cultural relics, sponsored by the national administration of cultural relics, was published in Mar. 21. The exhibition " the Chu state bronze" has honored the prize. It is the highest honor for the current exhibitions of Henan Museum.

The exhibition, sponsored by Henan museum, Henan provincal administration of cultural relics and Japanese Economic News Agency, took a half year and was traveled in Tokyo and Kyoto.
