 This
part displayed in 7 sections on the first and second floors of the Major Exhibition
Building , with a total area of more than 3200 square metres . It is the most important
large scale basic display of Henan Museum . Following the clear line of the development of
Henan ancient culture , the display is composed of the Introductory Section , Dawns of
Civilization , Brilliant Culture of the Xia , Shang and Zhou Dynasties , Incorporating
Things of Diverse Nature , Flourishing Age of the Sui and Tang Dynasties , Charming
Afterglow , etc .Making full use of Henan's superiority in cultural relics , the display has
collected more than 800 pieces of choice stone , pottery , porcelain , bronze , stone
carvings , brick carvings , three-colour pottery and porcelain , iron wares , gold and
silver articles etc . In addition , such means as scenery , model , sand tables , charts ,
computer consultation etc .Particular emphasis is put on reflecting the achievement of
Henan's
ancient Culture so as to give a representation of Henan's ancient history. |
