Of the musical bells of the Spring and Autumn Period unearthed in China, this set is the largest in number and the biggest in scale. It covers a large range of musical tones. The sounds produced by them are pure and harmonious, with accurate sound frequencies. All this indicates that Chinese musical culture had reached a very high level in the Chu State. |
