Unearthed at Luoyang City, Henan Province

Length: 144cm

Height: 37.5cm

Thickness: 14cm

 The stele is engraved the scene of Sakyamuni explaining his doctrine, with his disciples sitting on both sides listening to him. The picture is carved by applying lines in intaglio. The carving is done with excellent and fluent craftsmanship, reflecting the characteristics of the Northern Wei Dynasty's sculpture.
