Of slender ovoid form, the gently rounded shoulder rising to a small neck with conical mouth, fully decorated with peonies and lotuses. Cizhou meiping vase was a precious ceramic genre in ancient China, and Cizhou kilns were the largest folk kilns in the northern part of ancient China, there were a saying “Jingde(jingdezhen) in the South, Pengcheng in the North”.
Cizhou kiln was inaugurated in the middle of the Northern Song, and thrived to the peak, continued through the Southern Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties.
