On the morning of Apr.17, 2010, Professor and Ph.D. supervisor Qi Dongfang from Beijing University will present a lecture on "Caocao's Tomb and Archaeology" in the lecture hall of Henan Museum, it begins from 9:30 a.m. And it will be shown live on line at the website of Henan Museum: www.chnmus.net
Professor Qi's study and teaching range covers archaeology, history, artifact, painting. He has published several academic books and more than one hundred essays, which mainly deal with the history of the remaining part of Tu Yu Hun minority ethic (a ancient minority ethnic group in north-west of China), burial systems from the Three Kingdoms period to Tang dynasty, the golden and silver wares in ancient China, the glass, silk road and etc. He has won several academic awards and taken up numerous significant state research projects.
