The exhibited works produced by the Orrefors glass company come from an acquisition realized by UPM at an exhibition of Swedish applied arts held in its exhibition rooms in 1937. Thanks to this purchase, the museum owns unique glass objects that were created shortly before the exhibition. The vase featuring an octopus is a case in point.
