前言

卢森堡大公国,简称卢森堡,以“袖珍之国”“千堡之国”著称。它地处比利时、德国和法国之间,面积虽仅有2586多平方公里,历史上却一直是西欧重要的军事要塞,古堡众多、底蕴丰厚、景色宜人、风情独特。卢森堡过往动荡的历史可谓欧洲历史的真实写照,而今它还是欧洲联盟的创始成员国之一,世界第二、欧洲最大的基金管理中心。

本展览萃选了来自卢森堡国家考古、历史与艺术博物馆收藏的210件(组)瑰宝,它们承载着卢森堡跨越史前到近现代的历史记忆,细述着卢森堡的历史变迁、文化和经济发展脉络,诠释着这个迷人国度的多元文化魅力。

中卢友好交往历史悠久,成果斐然。2014年首条郑州至卢森堡货运航线的开通,更是搭建起了中欧互联互通的“空中丝绸之路”,成为共建“一带一路”的特色品牌。本展览正是此国际合作背景下的“小而美”的文化交流项目。

Preface

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, briefy named as Luxem-bourg, is widely known for "pocket kingdom" or "country ofthousands of castles".With an area of 2,586 square kilome-ters, this small country is landlocked by Belgium, Germany,and France, It has always been an important military fortressin European history, Its beautiful nature and numerous castlescreate Luxembourg a country with delightful and unique scenery.The turbulent past of the Grand Duchy is a true mirror ofEuropean history, Nowadays, it is a founding member of theEuropean Union and the largest fund management center inEurope, as well as the second largest fund management centerin the world.

This exhibition of 210 pieces (sets) treasures from the collectionof the National Museum for Archaeology, History and Art,Luxembourg, will provide a glimpse into the history ofLuxembourgfrom the Prehistoric era to the present, with emphasis on thedevelopment of multi-culture and economy of this fascinatingcountry. China and Luxembourg have been engaging in friendly exchangesfor a long time and made remarkable achievements. The openingof the frst Zhengzhou-Luxembourg international air cargo routein 20 14 has established the "Air Silk Road" for China-EU connectivityand has become a characteristic brand for continuing to developthe "Belt and Road Initiative". This exhibition is a cultural exchangeproject of“Small but Beautifu!” under such an international cooperationbackground.

It is expected this exhibition will provide audiences with an opportunityto gain an in-depth understanding of Luxembourg, bring the twocountries closer, further cultural exchanges and mutual learning,and jointly contribute to China and Luxembourg carrying forwardthe Silk Road spirit in the new era.
